We have experience in training and competing on an international stage and our approach has been responsible for producing competitors that have won World, European and National titles.

 

Bryn Jenkins

Brown belt

Bryn is the Head Coach at CF24 Jiu Jitsu and teaches the majority of the classes. Bryn has been training Jiu Jitsu since 2009 and has been a full time athlete since 2013. Bryn is one of Europe's top competitors and is an IBJJF European Championships medallist and National Champion with multiple British titles.

Omied Khakshour

Brown belt

Omied has been training Jiu Jitsu since 2009 and has been coaching since 2011. He finished 2015 as one of the top UKBJJA ranked purple belts after a year of competition success which included closing out the middleweight division of the Welsh Open with Bryn and also taking Silver at the British Open. Omied is the Head Instructor at CF24 Swansea and also teaches a number of sessions at CF24 Cardiff.

Kane Charig

Wrestling coach

Coach Kane heads up our wrestling programme, he has over 20 years judo experience and 6 years freestyle wrestling experience. Kane is a Judo blackbelt and was part of the Great Britain judo squad, as well as being a professional Judo athlete for Asahi Spremberg, Germany. Having turned his focus to freestyle wrestling Kane is a commonwealth games silver medallist in 2018, a commonwealth tournament bronze medallist and British Open champion in 2016 and a multiple time national champion (British closed, English Open and closed, Welsh Open and closed) in 2017.

Darragh O Conaill // East Coast Jiu Jitsu Academy

Darragh is Ireland’s youngest and most decorated Black Belt and oversees the development at CF24 Jiu Jitsu. Darragh is an exceptional coach and in 5 years has managed to build a formidable team at East Coast Jiu Jitsu, cementing his team as the number 1 in Ireland. His team's success has been built on a philosophy of high quality and hard training and it is our goal to emulate their success this side of the Irish Sea.

Darragh is an active competitor with over 200 matches to date with experience at competing at the highest level. His personal list of achievements is impressive and includes a European Championships medal, Pan American Championships medal and multiple national titles.

Darragh will visit our HQ multiple times a year for gradings and seminars. As part of our connection with Darragh there is also opportunity to go and train in Dublin with the East Coast Jiu Jitsu team, an opportunity not to be missed.
